Your Questions Answered

Do I have to pay for a quotation?

No. Wessex provides a free home survey with a no-obligation quotation.

Will you provide service assistance even if I don't have a service contract?

Yes, one of our engineers will respond to a breakdown, even if you don't have a service contract. In this event charges will be advised on site.

What quality and safety standards do Wessex Lifts conform to?

Wessex Lifts are Quality Assured to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and are fully approved to British Standards for safety. This gives us the confidence to offer a range of standard and comprehensive service contracts for added peace of mind.

How long does it take to install a Wessex Homelift? And how disruptive is it?

On the agreed date Wessex builders will arrive and over the next 2 or 3 days will form the aperture (cutting the hole through the ceiling). The Lift Installation will then follow. Dependent upon the area within which you live, there may be a small delay between the building work and lift installation (typically 1-3 days) and because the lift is typically fitted to the floor and ceilings, not to the wall, the process is quick, clean and simple. Before our fitters leave they will tidy up behind them, test the lift thoroughly and show you exactly how to operate it.
