PLATFORM STAIR LIFT

1. Wessex Area Sales Manager assesses the feasibility of installing the chosen product.

2. A formal quotation is produced and sent to customer for evaluation. The purchaser may choose to omit items 1 & 2, instead submitting own drawings for quotation purposes. However, a site visit may still be necessary before the manufacture of the product can be put in hand.

3. Should the quotation be acceptable, the customer sends a written order to the Wessex Sales office (stating the quotation number). A site specific drawing will subsequently be created for the clients approval. Once approved lift would typically be available for installation between 4-8 weeks. This lead in period may vary - please check with our office if you require clarity.

4. It is possible that a small amount of building work will be required. If required, this work will be carried prior to installation. Building work may be carried out either by the customers own builder or by a Wessex approved builder.

5. The installation department will then be in contact (usually to the user of the equipment) to arrange a suitable date and time for the installation.

6. On the agreed date Wessex Engineers will carry out the installation. This usually takes between 1 - 2 days.

7. The lift is now installed and will be commissioned before being formally demonstrated to the user. A comprehensive user guide will be left for your reference and all details relating to service and breakdown cover can be found within.
