WESSEX SERVICE CONTRACTS

 

You may take out a Service Contract to cover any item used by yourself or a member of your family. Service Contracts are also available to organisations responsible for overseeing the maintenance of many products in various locations. Increasing
numbers of Local Authorities are choosing Wessex to provide their maintenance as they realise the importance of a professional service at an affordable price.

Wessex Service Engineers are able to provide quality servicing and repairs to equipment from many different manufacturers.

Why should I buy a service contract?

Wessex products are manufactured to a very high standard, meeting the requirements stipulated by both European and British Standards. However, as with all electro-mechanical equipment, our products do require regular maintenance to ensure that they are kept in good working order. Some parts will need replacement due to normal wear and tear and, although we do our utmost to prevent it happening, unexpected breakdowns may occur.

LOLER ‘Lifting Operations and Lifting Equpiment Regulations 1998’ added to the responsibility of employers under general health and safety at work legislation. These regulations apply to Wessex lifting equipment (lifts, hoists, etc).

All Wessex Service contracts include two programmed preventative maintenance service visits per year, carried out by Wessex trained engineers.
